This John Lewis JLWM1414 washing machine has an 8kg capacity and 1600rpm spin speed, which will suit most small families, but if you have a large family you might want to opt for a washing machine with a bigger capacity.
1600rpm is the fastest spin speed possible, so will remove more water from your clothes, which is great if you regularly use a tumble dryer, as it will cut down on the drying time and thus reduce energy costs. Be aware though that a 1600rpm will leave your clothes more creased and should only be used on more durable fabrics like cotton. You can of course manually lower the spin speed if you want to.
It comes with a three year parts and labour warranty for extra peace of mind and if you buy before the 22nd March 2017, this is being extended to five years.
