Indesit IBD5515W1 Review
This Indesit IBD5515W1 60/40 fridge freezer comes in a white finish. It has a manual defrost freezer which means you will have to defrost it a couple of times a year.
If you let too much ice build-up it can start to restrict the capacity and the compressor will also have to start working harder to cool your food through all the excess ice. If you don’t want the hassle of having to defrost the freezer then you should look at buying a frost free fridge freezer.
In the fridge there are three shelves and two fruit and vegetable drawers to store your food and in the freezer there are three drawers with clear fronts and a separate area where you can make and store ice cubes.
The 60/40 split on this fridge freezer is good if you require more fridge than freezer space, it all depends on your cooling needs and priorities. If you require something with even more fridge space, then best to opt for a fridge freezer with a 70/30 split and for more freezer space a 50/50 split would suit you better.
Indesit offer a 10 year guarantee on parts (1 year for labour), but to get this you have to remember to register your warranty and parts are only free if they are fitted by an Indesit engineer.
