This Hotpoint FML742P 7kg washing machine is suitable for a couple, but if you have a larger family you might want to opt for a washing machine with a larger capacity.
There are a selection of special wash programmes including Anti-Allergy, which uses a combination of high temperature technology and extra rinses to neutralise and remove 99.9% of major allergens, and Anti-Stain, which removes 20 types of everyday stains in one wash, without the need for pre-soaking.
There is no time remaining display to be able to see how long your wash has before it ends, but it does have programme progress indicator lights to inform you what stage of the cycle it is currently in eg wash, spin, end. There is also no time delay option.
If you need clothes cleaned in a hurry, there is a 30 minute quick wash programme for a small load of lightly soiled clothing and a Time Saver button that shortens the wash and rinse stages, so it’s perfect for a quick refresh.
