This Hoover DXA59BC3 has a generous 9kg capacity and 1500rpm spin speed, which will suit most families. 1500rpm is a fast spin speed, so will remove more water from your clothes, which is great if you regularly use a tumble dryer, as it will cut down on the drying time and thus reduce energy costs. Be aware though that a 1500rpm will leave your clothes more creased and should only be used on more durable fabrics like cotton. You can of course manually lower the spin speed if you want to.
The large LED display lets you keep track of the time remaining of your wash and the time delay means you can set your washing machine to start at a time more convenient for you.
If speed is important, there are some dedicated washes to clean lightly soiled clothing – a low temperature 14 minute wash where you can wash a small load of clothing and a low temperature 59 minute full load 9kg wash. Other special programmes include Shirts, Baby, Delicates and Lingerie.
Hoover offer a 10 year guarantee on parts (1 year for labour), but to get this you have to remember to register your warranty and parts are only free if they are fitted by Hoover, read here for more details.
