This Grundig FiberCatcher GW78941FW Bluetooth 9kg 1400 spin washing machine comes in a white finish. The 9kg capacity is suitable for medium sized families, if you have a big family there are other washing machines available with a larger capacity.

This washing machine is the first ever to feature FiberCatcher™ technology. It is an integrated filter that captures up to 90% of synthetic fibres when you wash you synthetic clothing on one of the three special cycles. This prevents plastic microfibres from entering and spoiling our water sources. These filters do need replacing when they are full (roughly every 3 – 6 months), which can be done through Grundig.

The WaterCare feature also helps to reduce the number of microfibres released during the wash, as it replaces vigorous drum movements with a jet of water from the top of the drum. This provides a gentler and more faster wash.

With Bluetooth functionality, you can control this washing machine from your smartphone or tablet (within a certain distance). Just download the HomeWhiz app and you can save favourite programmes, get help choosing the right programme and even download new programmes.

There is also a special Hygiene+ programme to help reduce the amount of allergens like cat, dog and pollen allergens, as well as bacteria and funghi which is ideal for households with allergy or asthma sufferers. If speed is more your thing, and you only have lightly soiled clothing, then there is a 14 minute quick wash for a small load of laundry and also a 28 minute wash for a full load.

Also featuring an LED display, you can keep track of the time remaining of your wash and you can also set a time delay to wash at a time more convenient for you.
