Using the simply-Fi app, you can pair your smartphone to your washing machine. The benefits of this are that you can remotely control your machine, download new cycles, get hints and tips and if you’re feeling lonely you can even talk to your washing machine.

The large LED display lets you keep track of the time remaining of your wash and the time delay means you can set your washing machine to start at a time more convenient for you.

If speed is your thing, there is a a full load 59 minute wash and a low temperature 14 minute wash where you can wash a small load of lightly soiled clothing. Other special programmes include Sports, Handwash, Baby Care and the steam function will make the chore of ironing that little bit easier.

Candy offer a 10 year guarantee on parts (1 year for labour), but to get this you have to remember to register your warranty and parts are only free if they are fitted by a Candy engineer.
