This Bush WMDF612W washing machine has a 6kg capacity and 1200rpm spin speed, if you have a large family you might want to purchase something with a bigger capacity. The 1200rpm spin speed is on the low side and if you regularly uses a tumble dryer, the lower spin speed will mean clothes do not come out as dry (meaning more time in the tumble dryer and thus more energy consumed).
It has a narrow 50cm depth, ideal for kitchens with smaller units or that have plumbing directly behind the washing machine, as it means the product will not protrude from the front of the cabinets.
There is no countdown timer to let you know how long is left until your wash cycle has until it is finishes, but there are programme progress indicator lights to let to let you know what stage of the cycle the machine is currently in – wash, rinse or spin. The child lock will enable you to lock the display to keep curious hands from messing with your settings.
If speed is your thing, then there is a low temperature 15 minute wash, other special programmes include Sports, Handwash and Wool.
Remember to take a read through my washing machine guide before you make your purchase.
