This Beko MN1416224DPX American fridge freezer has a large fridge compartment at the top, with the freezer section below. The bottom right hand door offers great flexibility by using multi-zone technology, this enables it to be used as either a fridge or a freezer, simply by pressing a button on the control panel.
It offers cubed ice and chilled water on tap, all you need to do is plumb it into your water supply. The water dispenser is actually inside the fridge (unlike most other fridge freezers which have the dispenser on the outside) and the ice automatically collects inside the freezer, all ready for when you need to use it. You will need to keep buying filters to keep your ice and water tasting fresh (normally every 6 months) and a warning light on the display will tell you when it’s time to change the filter.
Packed full of features to keep your food fresh, including Active Fresh Blue Light™ technology and a NeoFrost cooling system. The Active Fresh Blue Lights mimic natural sunlight to keep your fruit and vegetables crisp and tasty and NeoFrost uses two fans and evaporators to help prevent food from drying out in the fridge, it also ensures there are no transfer of odours between the fridge and freezer.
The two chiller compartment drawers in the fridge keep at a lower temperature than the rest of the fridge and are the perfect place to store fresh meat, fish and dairy items.
From the LED display you can set the temperature of the fridge and freezer as well as setting different options, such as fast chill and fast freeze, which will cool your food down rapidly, so they better retain their nutrients and taste. There is also a Holiday mode where you can turn off the fridge but keep the freezer running.
An alarm will sound to warn you if you have left the doors open and the A+ energy rating is standard for a fridge freezer.
